Jewelry Care Guide
Follow these simple steps to keep your traditional oxidized silver and enamel Jhumkhas glowing like new.
Things to Avoid
- Keep away from water, soaps, and hand sanitizers to prevent early oxidation/tarnishing.
- Apply makeup, perfumes, hairsprays, and deodorants before putting on your Jhumkhas.
- Remove your earrings before sleeping, bathing, or doing high-impact physical exercises.
- Avoid direct contact with household chemical cleaners or chlorinated swimming pool water.
Storage & Cleaning
- After wearing, wipe each Jhumkha set gently with a clean, dry, lint-free cotton cloth.
- Store each set individually in airtight ziplock bags or inside the premium folding box provided.
- Keep your jewelry stored in dry, dark places, away from excessive moisture or direct sunlight.
- Do not bundle multiple Jhumkha sets together in one bag to prevent scratch marks or bead tangles.
Note on Oxidized Jewelry: Oxidized silver jewelry is intentionally darkened to achieve an antique look. Over time, natural wear may highlight the details and make the piece look even more unique, which is a natural characteristic of German silver alloys rather than a defect.
